I had to show my ID to get both the tickets and my passes because I had ordered the tickets through the phone and my name was on the guest list so all 3 passes were under my name. The ticket lady gave me a envelope with the three meet and greet passes in it, they had a picture of No Doubt on them and said No Doubt with a code number and the date; the passes were stickers and made of fabric. Also in the letter with the passes were instructions on where and when to go to get to the meet and greet the letter said to be waiting by the admit office near the merchandise stand. So we went in and Cassie and Sharon bought a few things and we waited by the amdit office and the merchandise stand. We saw Stephen Bradley by the merchandise stand. So I went up to him and shook his hand and told how much I appreciated how much he has contributed to No Doubt he was nice to me and said that he’s appreciates what I said to him. But then I went up to him again later and asked him for a picture with him, he said no. I told him that people on the No Doubt fan forum had talked about how he doesn’t like getting his picture taken. He said yeah and told me about how he doesn’t like to take pictures with fans and I said okay. Then Cassie and Sharon wanted to go up to him but at first they were very nervous. But then they decided to go up to him and Cassie had Stephen sign Sharon’s Gabe and Stephen T-Shirt. This security guard there told everybody to wait in the hallway by the admit office by the merchandise. So while me, Cassie and Sharon were waiting I went to the restroom. I took my stuff with me in the restroom; my camera and Tragic Kingdom booklet. When I was walking out of the restroom these two security guards stop me and told me that I can’t have the camera in the venue and they wanted to take away my camera. I told them that I had a meet and greet pass and that I was told that I could bring a camera to the meet and greet. They had to call in their radio and check. I also told them that I had been e-mailing the event cooridnator and she told me that she was going to escort me to the meet and greet. They called her in on their radios and the event coordinator came over. I knew her name and said to her sally and she said yes then I said I am the one that has been e-mailing you. Then she said Travis and I said yes. She told me that she should have escorted me over to the meet and greet and told the security guards that she was going to have me hold onto my camera and she has told the other security to let me and Cassie and Sharon back in so I can take my camera back to my car after the meet and greet. Then about 10 minutes later. A security guard came out and told everybody to go down the stairs. They had security guards checking everybody’s passes as we went down the stairs. Then they all had us go into a hallway which there was No Doubt, Garbage’s and The distillers dressing rooms in that hallway. They had us all line up; there was about 20 of us. They had some people line up on one side of the hallway and the rest of us line up on the other side of the hallway. There was a black sheet hanging from a bar. As the back drop for when we get our pictures taken with No Doubt. They had a plastic rope separating the dressing rooms from us. No Doubt’s personal security guard Curtis came and explained the rules. He said that No Doubt will come out and do the autographs first and then everybody will take turns getting their pictures taken with No Doubt. He also said that there is only one autograph allowed and Only one picture allowed per person. He also said that when we talk to No Doubt to keep the conversation short because No Doubt only had a certain amount of time to do the meet and greet. We waited for a while and I talked with Cassie and Sharon and told them how excited I was. At the meet and greet it seemed like me and Cassie and Sharon were the only big No Doubt fans there and that most of the rest just had won through the radio. Although I did talk to two other fans there that seemed like they were big No Doubt fans one of them said that they have a friend that knows No Doubt. Then we could see No Doubt Gwen, Tony, Adrian and Tom on the other side of the sheet. We saw no doubt starting to come towards us from behind the black sheet and Gwen came first, then Tony then Adrian and Then Tom. When I fist saw no doubt coming towards us the excitement really started to increase and get greater and greater. Gwen had her hair done up so that it hanged out the back and she had on pink and silver eye liner and light pink lip stick and Gwen was wearing a black sleeveless shirt and white pants with spades, hearts and clubs all over it in different colors like red and white and she was wearing 4” inch high heels that were black. Tony had his hair in mohak and it was bleached blonde on the top he was wearing a black jacket with red strips on it and a patch of a lamb on it and he had on a red shirt with some designs on it and he had on jeans. Adrian had his hair partly bleached at the tips and was cut really short and he was wearing a black Madness T-Shirt shirt and a pair of red and blue checkered pants. Tom was wearing a beanie that had blue and gray strips on it and he was wearing jeans. I then saw that Tom had shaved his beard off I told Cassie that I was glad and Cassie agreed. They started signing the other fans autographs and then got closer and closer to us. Cassie was next to me in line then Sharon was before Cassie in line. Gwen got to Sharon and Sharon gave Gwen a visor that Sharon had made for Gwen. Gwen said wow and asked Sharon how she made the visor. Sharon explained that she had used fabric paint and told Gwen how she made the it. Then Gwen Came to Cassie and Cassie gave Gwen the painting she had made for her. Gwen said wow and told Cassie that she had remembered those paintings from the Utah show. Because Cassie had thrown up on stage some paintings at the Utah show. Cassie gave each member a painting that she had made of each member. Then Gwen came over to me and she asked what I wanted singed. I pulled out the card I made for her and gave it to her. Gwen looked at the card really closely and she said wow geess you guy’s are creative. Then Tony came to me and I gave him a card and I think I told him that I played bass to. But I can’t remember exactly what I said or what he said. Then Adrian came to me and I gave him his card and he said wow thanks and smiled at me. Then Tom came to me and I gave Tom a card and I told Tom that I play bass guitar and that I know like 12 of their songs on bass and I asked Tom if I could play with them. Tom said that I would have to ask Tony because Tony’s is the bass guy. Then once they were done with the autographs and Curtis and explained that they were going to take the pictures now. I had a big feeling of amazement. I was like wow I just met No Doubt and I was getting more excited about getting my picture taken with No Doubt. I saw Gabrial Mcnair at the meet and greet talking with some people and after the autographs while I was waiting for my turn to get my picture taken with No Doubt I told I Gabe that I had met him at the Utah show and he said oh yeah. While me and Cassie and Sharon waited to get our pictures taken with No Doubt. Me and Cassie talked with Gabe. I did most of the talking. Sharon had Gabe sign her Gabe and Stephen T-shirt that was green and had Gabe and Stephen’s picture on it. Then I talked with Gabe. I told him about the interview I had read in the Tragic Kingdom Magazine with Brandon Griggs on his band. I asked him what he was planning on doing after the tour. He said that he was going to start recording with his band that he has. Then he said that his band was nothing like No Doubt. Cassie said that we would still come and see Gabe’s band if he came to Utah. Then I told him how I thought it was cool in the Live in Tragic Kingdom video how he had danced with the key board during Just a Girl. He smiled. I told Gabe how much No Doubt music means to me. I told him about how much No Doubt’s music has helped through a lot of hard times and I told him about how much No Doubt’s music has made me happier. He said yeah and smiled. I told Gabe how important to me was for No Doubt to know what I'm like in person and know how I feel about their music. He agreed and smiled. Then it was my turn to get my picture taken with No Doubt. I handed my stuff to Sharon and asked her she would hold on to them. Then I told Curtis that I wanted the picture to be up close. I told because I had seen other fans pictures on the fan forum and the other fans pictures were far away. So I told him again that I wanted my picture taken up close. He said okay. I got in between Gwen and Tony. Gwen was on my left and Tony was on my right. Gwen put her arm around me and I put my arm around her and I put my hand on her shoulder. Then I put my other arm around Tony’s shoulder and I put my hand on his shoulder. Adrian was on my right and Tom was on my left. At this point I was very happy and excited. Being surrounded by No Doubt having Gwen and Tony my two favorite members right next me. Curtis joked and said is this close enough and he held the camera really close and everybody laughed. Then Gabe joked and jumped in front of the camera and then jumped back. Then Curtis took the picture. Then after the Curtis took the picture. I turned to Gwen face to face and I looked her in the eyes and I told her about how might mom might die. Gwen said awww that’s sad. Note: (I found out later after the show that my mom is okay and my mom was overeacting when she told me about her condition that had got me worried and that's why I told Gwen what I did. I didn't plan on it; it just came out). Then I told Gwen how much their music has helped me through a lot of hard times in my life and how much their music has made my life happeir. Gwen smiled really big and then clapped her hands. Gwen looked really touched by what I had said. Then I asked Tony if I could play a song with them. Tony said that they didn't do that anymore then security grabbed me by the arm and pulled me out of the hallway. I think it was because I was taking too much time. Cassie was at the toop of the stairway and she had my stuff with her. Then me and Cassie waited at the top of the stairs for Sharon. When she came up we all went to the car to put our camera's and autographs back. Me and Cassie brought a couple of cameras each back into the veneu. Then we went down to the floor section. Garbage was almost done. We held on to each others arms so we wouldn't get seperated. We got pretty close to the front row. We waited for about a half an hour to an hour. Then the lights wnet down and they started to play the intro to Rock Steady and then No Doubt came up. They rose up out of the floor of  the catwalk with the drum set and all the members. All through the show they had a big screen behind them showing pictures of them during one part of the show and then they would show Gwen, Tony, Tom and Adrian on it when they were both on stage and on the catwalk. The Intro for Rock Steady was cool. When they played Hella Good it was cool. Sunday morning is a song I always love. Then they played Underneath It All and I love that song. Tony changed the bass lines on that song and it sound really good and then before Stephen played his trumpet Tony and Stephen I think shook hands and they made some gestures like they were praying and then Stephen played a trumpet solo during the middle of the song. He played it during the part that lady saw usually sings. New is one of my favorites. During Ex- Girl friend Gwen song I should have thought of that before we f#$cked instead of I should have thought of that before we kissed that song was cool. When they played Simple Kind Of Life. When Gwen song it seems like you be a good dad she pointed at a person in the crowd. Tony Played a five string bass for that song that song is cool. Then when they played Excuse Me Mr. It was cool because Tony has this slap part in the song and I was right in front of him when he played that part. He’s hands moved really fast. Then they played a slide show with pictures of them from different times in their lives with an instrumental version of Too Late. Then Magic’s In The Make-Up was a good song. They played it with acoustic guitars and Both Tom and Tony were playing acoustic Guitars. They played that song at the end of the Catwalk. Then they played Different People and I love that song. They then did the acoustic version of Running and Tony played the keyboard’s on that part they all played that song from the end of the catwalk. Then they played Bathwater I really enjoyed that song during part of it Gwen stood on her toe’s and danced with Tony to the beat. Then when the chorus came on towards the end of the song where Gwen sings whoooo Gwen Shook her butt and they showed it up close on the screen. Then they played End It On This which is a great song. Tony slapped during the first part of that song and that was the first time that I realized that Tony slap’s on that part of End It On This. Then Gwen said that she was going to play In My Head. Then they played In My Head. They played that song from the end of the catwalk and Adrian played that song with his electronic drum set. While Adrian played he moved like a robot. While Adrian was trying to play Tom came over and teased him and pushed him out from the drum set and Adrian teased Tom back and kicked him. Then they played Just a Girl. Gwen did push up’s from the end of the catwalk during part of the song. Gwen had the crowed sing along and say f#% you I'm a girl. Then they played Platinum Blonde Life. That was a cool song to see played live. During the guitar part Gwen sang bo bo, bo, bo. Then they played Hey Baby. Tony played a five string bass during the verse and slapped during that part and then during the chorus he played keyboards. Then Tom started to a guitar solo and put his guitar close to the speaker and then walked back to the front of the stage and started to play Don’t Speak. Then every member joined in and they started Don’t Speak. At some time Tony had his lighter lit and held it up for awhile but I can’t remember if it was during Don’t Speak or not. Gwen did the usual thing and had the fans sing along during part of Don’t Speak. Then they walked off stage. Then they played another slide show. Then No Doubt got back on stage and then there was two guys carrying Adrian on stage and they set him on the seat of his drum set. Adrian had black tape over his eyes and his mouth. He reached out to feel where his drums were and then they started to play Rock Steady. I think I remember Tony putting on some extra bass lines and it sounded good. Then during that song Tony teased Adrian and walked up to his drum set and flipped him off. Tony was smiling and Stephen looked over at Tony and Adrian and smiled. Then I could tell that they were going to play Spiderwebs. Because they always play Spiderwebs last. Plus I saw Gabe picking up his trombone. I was wanting the show to last longer. But anyway they started to play Spiderwebs and I remember Tony smiling during the first part of that song. All through the show I was trying to get there attention. I kept trying to get their attention during Spiderwebs by doing hand signal’s by pointing at myself and gesturing to let them know I wanted to get up on stage. Then during the middle part of Spiderwebs before the part where Gwen’s sings it’s gone too deep you wake me in my sleep. I got Tony’s Attention and Tony looked at me and Gwen and Tony stopped and they all stopped playing. Then Gwen and Tony stood at the end of the edge of the stage right in front of me. Gwen and Tony bent over and said something in the security guards ear. They pointed at me and the security pointed at the guy next to me and they shook their head and said no and then the security guard pointed at another guy next to me and they shook their head’s and said no. Then the security guard pointed at me and Gwen and Tony nodded their head’s and said yes. At this time I got a rush of excitement. Then the security guards pulled me out of the mosh pit and let me down on the floor in-between the barracade and the stage. Gwen stood on the catwalk by the stage. I walked over to Gwen and Curtis No Doubt’s security guard was standing on the floor by the catwalk and he had a big smile on his face and he told me to go up on stage. When I walked over to Gwen I looked up and she had her hand held out to help me up. I just pulled myself up instead of grabbing her hand. When I got up on stage I stood next to Gwen she was looking at me and smiling. I was so happy that I did the rock thing with my hand and jumped up for joy. Gwen smiled again at me. Then Gwen gave me a hug and I hugged her also. Then Gwen told me to go over to Tony. I walked over to Tony with Gwen. I remember when I was on stage with No Doubt I looked down at the people in the crowd and I remember the look on their faces. They had a look of amazement. Then Tony held his bass guitar out and asked me if I wanted to play He said to me “Do you want to play”? I said “Yes”. Then Tony took his bass guitar off and then handed his bass guitar to me and put it over me. I started to play what I thought I should play for that part of Spiderwebs. But Tony corrected me and Told me to play something different. He showed me what he wanted me to play. Then I started to add in my own notes. When I started to add in my own notes Gwen came over to me and pointed at me and said “I can’t do That. Then shortly after I started playing adding my own notes Tony came over to me said that he would take over. So I handed Tony’s bass back to him and then I shook Tony’s hand and he had to leaned over to hear what I said to him because of the crowd being so loud. When I was shaking Tony’s hand I told how much their music has made my life happier then he smiled and said that’s great. Then Tony told to go stand by Adrian’s drum set on the step. He walked with me over to Adrian’s drum set and showed me the step. So I stepped on the step and stood their. But I stepped off the step after they started playing Spiderwebs from where they left off. Then I took a picture of myself on stage with No Doubt by Adrian’s drum set and then I started dancing I did the ska dance. So when they got into the chorus part where Gwen’s sings “Sorry I’m not home right I’m walking in the spiderwebs so leave a message and I’ll call you back. It was amazing to watch them play from behind on stage and seeing all the fans from on stage. Then I started to dance that ska dance. I kept dancing for most of the song. Then when they got to the last part of the song. Gwen waved along with the music so I waved with the music and the rest of the crowed waved with music. Then they were finished with Spiderwebs. Then Tom walked over to me to shake hands so I shook Tom’s hand. Then I stepped on the step by Adrian’s drum set and I reached over to Adrian and I shook Adrian’s hand. Then Adrian handed me his drum stick’s one of his drum sticks has Rock Steady on it in red letters. Then Gwen, Tony, Tom and Adrian of No Doubt and Gabe and Stephen were waving to people and Adrian was on the catwalk throwing drum sticks out to fans. Tony came over to me and told me to go over to Adrian. So I walked over to Adrian on the catwalk and I put my arm around Adrian. He looked over at me and smiled. He also had a looked suprised So I stood with Adrian for awhile while he handed out drum sticks. Then Gwen, Tony, Tom, and Adrian of No Doubt and Gabe and Stephen walked to the front of the stage in the middle and stood side by side and put their arms around each other Gwen waved over to me and told me to come over. So I walked over to Gwen and I stood by Gwen. Then Gwen put her arm around me and I put my arm around her. While I was standing with Gwen I kept looking at her and staring at her because I was just so amazed that I was being included in the bow and I was standing next to Gwen with her arm around me. We all stood while all the fans clapped. Then we bowed. Then I looked over at Gwen and gestured with my hands and asked where to go. She said follow me and we both went to walk off the back of the stage on Tony’s side of the stage where they had got on stage from before the encore. Then this security guy grabbed Gwen by the arm had her go off stage at the side of the stage on Tom’s side. So Gwen, Tom, Adrian, Gabe and Stephen all walked off stage before me and Tony. Then I walked off stage with Tony on Tom’s side. When I got off stage with Tony there were these people with towels and I think the towels were blue or white. I think Tony grabbed a towel and wiped his face with it. Then I went to grab one of the towels and then I stopped myself and realized that those were the towels for No Doubt Then shook Tony’s hand and I told him that I was looking forward to their next album. He smiled and I think he said that’s great and then he said that he had to go. Then I asked a security guard where to go and it pointed towards the barracades and told me to go that way. So I walked in between the barricades and the stage and I walked by the end of the catwalk. Then I climbed over the barracade and stepped down onto the other side of the barracade onto the floor. I then walked around looking for Cassie and Sharon and soon I found them. Cassie and Sharon looked at me and I think they said wow that was great. They looked very happy for me. As I walked out of the Idaho Center I had people coming up to me and telling me how great the part of me on stage with No Doubt was and how lucky I was and shook my hand and patted me on the shoulder. Then this guy and girl that were from Orem, Utah that was also at the last Utah show came up to me and I think they said wow that was great. Their names were Alex and Trish. I walked with Cassie and Sharon and Alex and Trish out of the Idaho Center and stood with them for awhile and talked. Then me and Cassie and Sharon walked to the car. I still at that point had people coming up to me. Then we drove to a near by Chevron service station so I could get gas and a drink and Cassie and Sharon could do what they wanted there. When we got there Alex and Trish were at there at the gas station also and Alex waved to us. When I got into the service station and I was waiting for Cassie to get out of the bathroom this guy came up to me and said to me you hugged Gwen can I give you a hug so I gave him a hug. Which I thought was funny. Then I think he said wow thanks you’re so lucky. Then another guy came up to me and he told me how lucky I was Then I and Cassie and Sharon drove back to Utah. I got home and I told my dad about the getting my picture taken with No Doubt and meeting No Doubt and getting pulled on stage and he was so happy for me that he started to cry. It was the best day of my life. After getting my picture taken with No Doubt and meeting No Doubt and getting pulled on stage and playing Tony’s bass and bowing with them and being able to walk off stage with Tony. Those experiences has made me love No Doubt more and it has made me a bigger No Doubt fan. I now know how loving and nice and down to earth Gwen Stefani, Tony Kanal, Tom Dumont, Adrian Young of No Doubt are. Gabriel McNair and Stephen Bradley are nice people also. I look forward to No Doubt’s next album and their next show. This is my story. Travis Kelly
